You’re looking at signing a couple of average to slightly better than average players. Kilman is worth 45 million FFS. No, you're right to be worried. We've got to build almost a new squad. There seems to be more outgoings than incoming in an already threadbare squad. Then saying we're skint and now it seems they've been giving false information that Kudus can't leave till Sumner 2025. The only saving grace is there's time to fix it, at the moment.

Perfectly plausible that we were going to be using the Paqueta sale money this window, and as we can't currently, we would entertain the sale of Kudus instead for the £85m release clause. Matias Soule as an example of a direct replacement, only €35m, which leaves a good £50m-ish left over.

50 mil budget + the possibilty of 10mil Emerson, 20mil Aguerd, 18mil Downes & Ings, 15mil Soucek, then the two possible 85mil's would mean WHU would have a healthy transfer budget but again all of these are just transfer rumours, lets wait and see.

Wilson is a good striker when fit certainly better than Antonio and a good fit for West ham in my opinion

why don't we keep Flinn at Southampton on loan for another season. With a full season playing in the premier league, his value will probably increase further. Southampton will probably give him a lot of game time. Then, if for some reason we lose Alvarez, we can bring back Flinn. Or we sell him in a year for a higher price.
